Against the severe shortage in the Will to
Create:
Excessive amounts of Death Wishes,
In every Garbage Pile
In every Neglected Child
In all the Weak we’ve left behind
In all the Suffering we did not bother to prevent,
Severe shortage in Caring
Severe shortage in True Love.
Do you Care for somebody?
In your heart is there Love for somebody?
 Many things in
this world
That suffer no shortage
Not the slightest shortage
Tiny little shortage.
There’s no shortage in Future:
It is all ahead of us
Not even an iota behind us.
No shortage in things to do –
There’s so much to rectify:
The Child who’s crying, disappointed,
 Waiting for us to
Encourage and Guide,
The Hitting Hand that we did not stop yet,
The Polluting Pipe that we did not shut yet,
Tell me – isn’t there more than enough to do???
Many things to do
On a bunch of shoulders overloaded and brave,
A bunch of heroes and heroines
Against the Death Wish
Against the neglect and fear of action,
For Caring
For True Love.
Severe shortage in what?
In YOU! YOU are missing. And how!
Your concern -
Your hand stretched to help -
Your shoulder to pull together -
MAY TIP THE SCALES!!!
Perhaps only thanks to you Children will smile again,
Perhaps only thanks to you Rivers will clean up once
more,
Perhaps only thanks to you a New Tomorrow will rise,
In which there will be “severe” shortage in Death
Wish,
In which we wouldn’t know how to tell our Children
What are Agony, Filth, Insanity and War.
